Has successfully built a highly motivated team, attracted the best talent, fostered innovation, raised the first round of funding and led the growth of iViZ. His core areas of research had been in the Simulation of a Hacker's mind using Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Hacking, Social Engineering and Attack Simulation.
Nilanjan DeCSO, Co-Founder, Director
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. His technical area of expertise is in Vulnerability Research and Exploitation Techniques, Network Security, Kernel Security etc. He has been successfully leading the product development and research in core security areas related to reverse engineering, exploitation etc. He is well-known in the security community and has published several exploits and advisories for the first time in the world.
NoteMr Reuel Ghosh, Mr Sudhir Sethi and Mr Karan Mohla have submitted their resignations to the board resigning with effect from 31 October 2014. Further, Mr John Wyatt, Mr Scott Yancey, and Mr Brian Mizelle (whose profiles are set out below) are proposed to be appointed as directors on the board effective from 31 October 2014.
John Wyatt is a 30-year veteran of the technical and business consulting industry. He has an impressive career of increasing results in growing small and medium size companies, process reinvention and innovation in technology. They include a string of successes going back to the late 1980s.
He grew James Martin & Co. from essentially zero to $100 million, established the Commercial Intelligence division of MicroStrategy, ran OneSoft (an e-commerce software company) through the tech boom and bust and grew Ariel Research from a subscription EHS data provider into an Environment, Health and Safety Outsourcer. At Cigital, John is responsible for the business strategy, overall financial and operational management. So far he has grown Cigital by a factor of 10 in revenue and established it as the "go to" services firm for software security.
Scott brings 30 years of financial advisory and business management experience to Cigital, having held senior leadership roles with numerous venture backed companies, and with emerging technologies ranging from software development, telecommunications, data storage, web based retail, media services and government contracting.
Over his career, Scott served as senior executive for In-Q-Tel, which invests in early-stage companies for the benefit of the Central Intelligence Agency and others. Scott was also the CFO for Cable and Wireless North America, a $1.2 billion telecommunications provider and for Network Access Solutions, which was listed on NASDAQ after a successful IPO.
Brian brings 20 years of full life-cycle software development experience and leadership to Cigital. He is responsible for managing the supply chain for delivery of Cigital services to help our clients achieve business and technical goals and objectives around software security, testing, and development.
